Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with Paramount Music Chief Randy Spendlove

Grammy Award winning music supervisor and Film Music Executive Randy Spendlove sits down and chats with Q score host Jonathan McHugh. Spendlove and McHugh talk about the upcoming release of summer blockbuster Transformers 4, Hercules and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. They also discuss Spendlove’s responsibilities as President of Music at Paramount Pictures and his experience working with artist like Beyonce, Linkin Park and Green Day.

Randy Spendlove is President of Music at Paramount Pictures. He is responsible for all the music that goes into all the Paramount Films. He is best known for his work on Dreamgirls, Cold Mountain, Gangs of New York and Chicago for which he won the Grammy for Best Soundtrack Album for a Motion Picture.

Jonathan McHugh has spent over two decades working in film, TV and music. Mchugh’s background ranges from record and film company marketing and promotion, producing music themed film and TV shows, to years of music supervision and soundtrack production. McHugh continues to stay active in the industry and bridge the gap between, music and visual media. Each week on Q Score, Jonathan McHugh takes us behind the scenes of the film and television music we love.
