Kate Middleton’s Winning Repeat Style, Vogue’s Top 10 of the Week & Gold Clutches on Tailor Made with Brian Rodda

Brian brings a rolls solo on this show where he discusses Kate Middleton Wining Repeat Style, Vogue’s Top Ten Ladies of the Week and Golden Clutches perfect for Christmas gifts.

Well, the blogosphere was a tizzy yesterday as The Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in a winning repeat number. Here we have her in this, a Dove-printed coat dress by Orla Kiely, suede Aquatalia ankle boots with matching brown tights and a small brown clutch.

If this same exact outfit (down to the stockings!) worked back in 2012 when the duchess visited Rose Hill Primary School in Oxford. The wool dress, which originally retailed for £325, is unfortunately unavailable at the moment, as it’s more than a few seasons old. But the takeaway for us non-royals is simple: Dive headfirst into seasonal dressing by picking out old faves.

This inspired us to take a look at some of Kate’s other Winning repeat numbers:

LOOK 2: Wimbledon, July 4, 2012

It doesn’t take a lot to recycle a winning look into something completely reimagined. Here she is with her hair pulled back on her Canadian tour, and at Wimbledon with her hair down.

Changing the blouse underneath and adding a different fascinator gives this Coat a new fresh spin around the block.

So, what if you want the royal look but don’t have the royal budget? Well, here are a few pieces to inspire you:

Her Issa Wedding engagement gown can be found by British brand Tesco. They’ve made a much less expensive knock-off they’re calling the Pepita Dress, for 99 pounds (about $150 US). This viscose version captures the look of Kate’s silk Issa by featuring a deep V-neck, draping, and a wrap waistband.

Or of course, even the royal herself knows how to find a good bargain, here she is featured in lovely polka dots by Top Shop www.topshop.com for a purse-friendly £38.00, or around $60 american. Get it before it goes!

Well, you don’t have to be a royal to have good taste, and this week Vogue has picked their Top 10 stunners, 5 of whom we’d like to highlight here, first up:

Lily Collins: Givenchy Dress and Jimmy Choo Shoes love the oversized long wrap jacket.

Gwyneth Paltrow in Prada is always stunning. She always makes everyone’s best dressed list, and this week is no exception.

Rooney Mara, Balenciaga Dress and Brian Atwood Shoes. This is at the HER premiere in Rome. Rooney looks completely herself here. Obviously the see through skirts aren’t going away anytime soon, and I think this is a fun twist on it.

Natalie Portman, one of my favorite actresses, appearing on David Letterman in Christian Dior Dress and shoes with Harry Winston Jewelry.

And the biggest winner of the week, is this romantic print by Oscar De La Renta on Blake Lively. She’s paired it with an Oscar de La Renta Necklace and Christian Loubotin Shoes. It’s whimsical, romantic and lusch.

So what is the final piece necessary to complete a winning look? Well, the clutch of course! Elle Magazine did a great piece on one of the hottest must haves this holiday season, the Golden clutch. Let’s take a look at a few:
